Using a traditional technique, the process begins by obtaining the fibers from the leaves of the toquilla palm, which are then dyed and interwoven to create beautiful and intricate pieces that are the ultimate expression of the region’s culture and identity. For decades, artisan communities in the region have preserved this art of weaving toquilla palm, and it currently constitutes their main source of income. All of our items are 100% handmade from natural fibers. Please allow for slight variations in color and size, as well as natural imperfections that may occur during the handcrafting process.
